Rural Development

Rural development enhances living standards and economic opportunities in rural areas.

  1. Infrastructure Development Projects: Work with local governments to improve rural infrastructure by constructing roads, community centers, and installing solar street lights, in alignment with government programs like the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
  2. Support for Agriculture: Organize workshops on modern agricultural practices, sustainable farming, and organic cultivation techniques, collaborating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Krishi Vigyan Kendras to provide training and resources.
  3. Livelihood Development Programs: Promote rural entrepreneurship through training and assistance in sectors like poultry farming, dairy farming, and handicrafts. JKCF can link with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) to access funding and government support.
  4. Microfinance and SHG Support: Facilitate the creation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in rural areas, focusing on women and marginalized communities, helping them access microfinance and government schemes under the Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana (DAY-NRLM).
  5. Village Development Initiatives: Engage in holistic village development by providing sanitation facilities, clean drinking water, and educational support. Collaborate with Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) to implement best practices in rural development.
